I’m a skeptic. It sometimes seems like it’s just easier to accept a scientific explanation for something than a supernatural one.

But I’ve concluded that science and math can never answer the “why” question. They are good at the “how” and even the “what”, but if you keep asking question you’ll always end up at “why”. “why” us the first question and the last question. And I’m a “why” person.

The only reason I see to subscribe to any world view is that it’s true. Every now and then, something happens that seems impossible if what we see with our eyes is al that exists.

When I was struggling with fear, at just the moment I needed it, God aligned things so I would hear Him loud and clear. And it was undeniable. It was beyond coincidence. It supported me in a way that I could not have planned for when my father passed away.

If I ever have doubts, I need only remind myself of what happened to me. I will never forget this verse. It’s tattooed in my heart. Asia 4:15 “for I am the ??? your God, who takes hold of your right hand says to “Do not fear, I will help you.’”

On your journey, you will be surrounded by beauty but I hope that you can look for things beyond what you can see with your eyes.

And as you think of the many fears your face, know what there is known answer to the “why” question. Lie is infinitely valuable and you have a Creator who holds the future. What is there to fear?
